My passion for weddings began when planning my own wedding in 2017. I loved learning about the planning of weddings, especially the huge array of décor possibilities. I actually enjoyed the designing and decorating parts so much that I got up early on our wedding day - not to chill with a glass of bubbles and have my hair and make-up done - but to spend the morning decorating our venue with my closest family and friends, to bring our wedding day vision to life. Needless to say, it would be a privilege and a joy for me to help you with your wedding design and styling!   
    

A few facts about me: 

💜 I was a research scientist for 18 years ~ researching, paying close attention to details, working to budgets and producing high quality work are deep-rooted skills within me 

💜 I took a "year out" when I hit 40 and spent 8 months volunteering in Thailand, teaching English to children and as a volunteer coordinator ~ a great experience of working with people from many different backgrounds and cultures

💜 I taught vocational qualifications for a training company in Aberdeen for 5 years ~ giving me a lot of experience communicating with different people, discussing their thoughts and goals, and guiding them to success.

I pride myself in providing a friendly, personal service with regular communications from booking, through design consultations, to delivery.  Applying Love Wee Wedding & Event's sustainability objectives, my designs are mindful of the environment and I create all pieces with care, so that the components can be taken apart and reused in a future design in order to minimise waste. Yet with so many different combinations of decorative elements and styling possibilities, couples can expect unique and imaginative designs that represent them and their vision!
